IDREX Nasal Spray
Active ingredients: Each spray contains:
Ectoin®, Sea Salt, Water, Phosphate Buffer (0.14 ml solution)
Mode of Action:
iDrex preparations are a medical device that contain ectoine which is a natural cell-protective molecule with inflammation-reducing and membrane-stabilizing properties.
• reduces inflammations of disturbed nasal mucosa and sinuses caused by rhinitis and rhinosinusitis (common cold).
• supports the regeneration process of irritated nasal epithelium.
• cleanses and moistens the nasal mucosa,
• free of preservatives.
• has no effect on habituation.
Indications:
Idrex Nasal Spray is a nasal spray for treatment and prevention of rhinitis or rhinosinusitis symptoms.
Precautions:
• Should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to Ectoin® or any of the other ingredients of the nasal spray.
• Do not use if the device is damaged or punctured.
• If allergic reactions occur, the use of Idrex Nasal Spray must be discontinued immediately.
• To ensure safe hygiene, each nasal spray bottle should only be used by one person.
• Do not use for more than 3 month after opening.
• There is no evidence for a particular risk during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
• Idrex Nasal Spray is suitable for children. Children 10 years of age and younger and patients unable to use Idrex Nasal Spray on their own should be assisted during the application of Idrex Nasal Spray.
Undesirable effects:
Idrex Nasal Spray is well tolerated. Up to now, no regularly occurring or persisting side effects are known.
Storage and disposal:
• Keep in a safe place, out of reach and sight of children.
• Store between 2°C –25°C.
