IDREX Inhalation Solution
Active ingredients: Each unit contains:
Ectoin®, Water, and Sea Salt 2.5 ml
Mode of Action:
iDrex preparations are a medical device that contain ectoine which is a natural cell-protective molecule with inflammation-reducing and membrane-stabilizing properties.
• protects and moisturizes the mucosa of the airways.
• prevents symptoms of allergic reactions of the respiratory system while suffering from allergic asthma induced by house-dust or pollen.
• prevents drying of the mucous membranes, dilutes tenacious mucus so that it can be coughed up more easily.
Indications:
Idrex Inhalation Solution is an isotonic solution and can be used for supportive treatment to reduce inflammations of the airways in case of bronchitis, asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
Precautions:
• Should not be used during persisting traumas e.g. after surgery of the respiratory system.
• Should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to Ectoin® or any of the other ingredients.
• If side effects occur, the use of Idrex Inhalation Solution must be discontinued immediately.
• After usage of one single-dose unit, the remaining liquid must be discarded; it is not intended for later usage.
• Do not use damaged or punctured single-dose units.
• Do not inhale too quickly.
• Wait at least 15 minutes between the use of Idrex Inhalation Solution and the inhalation of other Medical Devices or drugs.
• Currently, there is no data available regarding the use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Undesirable effects:
As with all inhaled products, inhalation of Idrex Inhalation Solution can lead to side effects. In some cases, a negative impact on an existing asthma condition could not be excluded.
Storage and disposal:
• Keep in a safe place, out of reach and sight of children.
• Store between 2°C –25°C.
