Enzymes are proteins that make it easier to digest food and convert it into energy within the cells. These enzymes are found both in the human digestive tract (mouth, stomach, pancreas and intestines) and within the body?s actual cells, mainly in an organelle called lysosome, where they contribute to cellular metabolism by allowing the recycling of biomolecules. From the age of 50, our body?s enzymatic activity decreases and our digestive system finds it increasingly difficult to assimilate food. And because our diet includes processed products, it contains few digestive enzymes.
Role of enzymes:
AMYLASE: breaks down carbohydrates, starches and sugars.
CELLULASE: breaks down fibers to help digest fruit and vegetables.
LACTASE: breaks down lactose found in dairy sugars.
LIPASE: breaks down the fats and oils that the intestine has to absorb.
PROTEASE: breaks down proteins into amino acids.
How To Use :
Take 2 capsules per day with a large glass of water, preferably before the 2 main meals.
