Active ingredients: Each tablet contains:
\nLoratadine 10 mg<\/p>\n
Mode of Action:
\nLORADAY is long-acting, non-sedating antihistamine with selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonistic activity and does not have sedative effects at the recommended dose. Loratadine has no clinically significant sedative or anticholinergic properties in the majority of the population and when used at the recommended dosage.<\/p>\n
Indications:
\nLORADAY is used for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria as well as other allergic dermatologic disorders.<\/p>\n
Posology:
\nAdults and children \u2265 6 years: one tablet daily.<\/p>\n
Precautions:
\n\u2022 Do not exceed the stated dose.
\n\u2022 Safety and efficacy of Loratadine in children less than 2 years of age have not been established.
\n\u2022 Used with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment where dose adjustment should be considered.<\/p>\n
Contraindications:
\n\u2022 Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
\n\u2022 Pregnancy and breastfeeding (unless prescribed).<\/p>\n
Undesirable effects:
\nThe most common side effects include headache, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders and dry mouth.<\/p>\n
Pharmacokinetic properties:
\n\u2022 Loratadine is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract after oral doses, peak plasma concentrations being attained in about 1 hour.
\n\u2022 Loratadine undergoes extensive metabolism. The major metabolite, desloratadine, has potent antihistaminic activity. Loratadine and its metabolites have been detected in breast milk.
\n\u2022 Most of the dose is excreted equally in the urine and feces, mainly in the form of metabolites.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Keep in a safe place, out of reach and sight of children.
