Panadrex Drops (Raspberry flavored)<\/p>\n
Active ingredients: Each 1 ml contains:
\nParacetamol 100 mg<\/p>\n
Mode of Action:
\nPanadrex Drops contain paracetamol which is an analgesic (a pain killer that reduces aches and shivers) and antipyretic (it reduces temperature when a child has a fever).<\/p>\n
Indications:
\nPanadrex Drops relieve the pain of teething, toothache and sore throats and reduce the fever often associated with colds and flu and childhood infections such as chicken pox, whooping cough, measles and mumps.<\/p>\n
Posology:
\n\u2022 The recommended dose is 10 \u2013 15 mg\/kg
\n\u2022 The dose of Panadrex drops for infants may be chosen based on weight or age. (please refer to the insert leaflet for more details)<\/p>\n
Precautions:
\n\u2022 Do not give more than 4 doses or do not exceed 60 mg\/kg in any 24 hour period.
\n\u2022 Minimum dosing interval: 4 hours
\n\u2022 Maximum duration of continued use without medical advice: 3 days
\n\u2022 Suitable for children as young as one month of age, however, not recommended <2 months except under medical advice.
\n\u2022 Caution when used in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Liver damage is possible in the event of overdosage.<\/p>\n
Contraindications:
\n\u2022 Hypersensitivity to the active substances (paracetamol) or any of the other excipients.
\n\u2022 In combination with other paracetamol-containing medication
\n\u2022 Fructose intolerance<\/p>\n
Storage and disposal:
\n\u2022 Keep in a safe place, out of the reach and sight of children.
\n\u2022 Store below 30\u00b0 C.
